The Pampelonne cushion

On each cushion a variety of sleek hand embroidered figures sit, stretch or snooze, evoking warm evoking warm beaches and lazy days.

Alexandra has collaborated with Ricamour Embroideries for her cushions. They are exquisitely hand embroidered by this highly skilled team, preserving the ancient art of hand embroidery allowing communities and livelihoods to flourish.

Each figure takes approximately 2 hours to hand embroider, therefore each one is completely unique.

Alexandra has chosen a modal fabric - a bio-based fabric that is made from spinning beech tree cellulose. Modal is generally considered a more eco-friendly alternative to cotton because beech trees don't require much water to grow and therefore the production process uses about 10-20 times less water.
